One time, at Bandcamp-
Let's say 20+yrs ago, in a time called 'the early oughts,' a rock band formed in Brooklyn. (Have you heard this one?) They were called Strip Minors, and nobody invited them to 'meet in the bathroom.' Influences? Sprinkle some Kinks & Cheap Trick here, some Big Star & Roxy there, with a hint of Zombies, then smear w/Rasberries - suffice it to say, Wes Anderson would have creemed his pleated pants.

Members included bi-coastal all-stars Eddy Crouse on vox, Tony Nigro on Acetone organ, Stephen Vesecky on trombone, myself on bass & Aram ('El Guapo') Delgado pounding the skins.

Gigging rarely but effectively (like that Atlantic Antic outside Magnetic Field), they plied their indie-pop/rock trade in obscurity but no more! Today the entirety of their studio output, layed down originally on tape for you 'hi-fi' aficionados and named after an all-purpose punchline to a struggling joke, 'In Bed' is available now to you at the click of a mouse.
